COVID-19

COVID-19 has changed the world.

Hillhead Hockey Club has conducted risk assessments and changed procedures to meet the challenges presented by COVID-19. Each section has a COVID-19 coordinator to ensure that the club is following the latest guidance and has all the required protective measures in place to ensure the safety of our members at training, at matches or in the clubhouse.

Current guidelines are available at the bottom of this page

What are we doing about COVID?

Risk assessments in place for our local facilities and activities.

Implemented an electronic tracking system for training and matches to assist NHS Scotland Test and Protect.

Participants must clean their hands with sanitiser before entering the pitch and participating in any activity.

Additionally, we are communicating with opposition club’s and facilities to ensure up to date information is available to our members and the safety of our member’s is considered before we travel to matches.

Participants will be asked to leave a session should they repeatedly fail to follow rules issued prior to that session.
