Silver Accreditation Success!

Hillhead Men’s and Ladies’ Hockey Clubs are delighted to announce that we have been successful in achieving Scottish Hockey’s Silver Level Accreditation status.

Following months of hard work from volunteers and committee representatives we have taken great strides to formalise development plans, streamline our processes and policies, and reduce double working where possible.

At Hillhead we see increasing participation in hockey, and developing our members into great coaches, umpires and volunteers as critical to our progression as a hockey club and this award recognises the great efforts that we go to each season to achieve our goals.

This award marks the start of our next chapter of development and we look forward to working with our members, local partners and Scottish Hockey to make our club the best it can be.

"Despite COVID-19 reducing hockey playing opportunities over the last 9 months, I am delighted that we have been able to use this time to make tangible improvements behind the scenes to our hockey club.
